Ahh, the famous JBJ Nano Cube. Quite possibly the most popular cube aquarium among nano reefers, and it has good reason to be. The Nano Cube is one of the highest quality and best constructed nano reef cube aquariums ever made. It really is built to last a long time of nano reefing, and is tough enough to handle the experiences of nano reef life.

The Nano Cube in the picture above is the Nano Cube 12 DX, or Deluxe. It's similar to the original 12 gallon Nano Cube, but it has some enhancements that the original doesn't have. For instance, it features a compact fluorescent light system with twice as much wattage--for a total of 48 watts. This is sufficient lighting for all mushroom corals and softies, many LPS, as well as invertebrates.
If you're looking for a Nano Cube with more powerful lighting (metal halid) and some excellent built-in equipment for SPS corals and clams and such, though, check out the Nano Cube HQI. But if you just want to keep mushrooms, softies, zoanthids, some LPS, etc. then the 12 Gallon Nano Cube DX will do wonderfully.
