24 Gallon AquaPod Aquarium
The 24 Gallon AquaPod is a step up from the 12 Gallon AquaPod, and has everything the 12g has, but on a larger scale to accommodate the larger size and water volume. It has the seamless, panoramic curved glass that makes the AquaPod series so great, as well as the quality construction and carefully selected aquarium components that have earned the AquaPod a top-notch reputation in the nano reef world.
The AquaPod 24 has slightly upgraded compact fluorescent than the 12g AquaPod has, and features a 64 watt lighting system with 1-32W square pin Dual Daylight 10000°K/6700°K bulb and 1-32W square pin Dual Actinic 460nm/420nm bulb. This lighting setup illuminates all corners of the AquaPod, and provides ample light for most corals, fish, and invertebrates. However, for the most light-demanding corals and invertebrates such as SPS and clams, a more intense light such as the SunPod HQI is recommended.

The balance of daylight and actinic ensures a good color of light in the aquarium and healthy nano reef inhabitants. Like the AquaPod 12 gallon, the Aquapod 24 has a set of blue LEDs for viewing the aquarium at night and simulating moonlight to encourage nighttime behavior of fish and inverts. Additionally, electronic ballasts and integrated cooling fans ensure cool and quiet operation of the AquaPod.
The 24 Gallon AquaPod has an efficient built-in filtration system with mechanical and biological filtration aspects so you get the forms of filtration needed to have a healthy and clean nano reef aquarium. An upgraded 290 gallons per hour submersible water pump ensures that water is circulated throughout the AquaPod properly and water current is directed where it needs to be the most. A surface-skimming overflow intake system also works to keep the aquarium's water sparkling clean and clear.
